Service Concept and Marketing

SERVICE DESIGN, GRAFIC DESIGN

Starting Point

OK Salonki has provided beauty and wellness services for over 40 years in Helsinki Finland. Over the years, the company has developed new services and ways of serving customers, but unfortunately those have remained unknown to customers and even to the staff members.

Project

The goal of the project was to design two commercial ready concepts for two existing hairdressing services. The services should be clear and marketable.

The project divided into two phases. The objective of the first phase was to develop a staff guide to clarify the two services, taking into account the overall service experience of the customer and the potential for additional sales. In the second phase, an attractive advertising concept was created for both services to increase awareness of the services, in line with the customer target groups.

Outputs

The materials were introduced to the staff remembers as well as service concepts to customers in social media and in printed publications. The project output included:

– internal guideline for staff (PDF, A4)
– customizable social media posts
– internal guideline for marketing
– concept book that was designed in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator
